Easy Tracking & Nearby Search
Once attached and registered in SmartThings, the tag shows the last known location of your item on a map and leverages nearby Galaxy devices in the SmartThings Find network to help locate it if it’s out of your own Bluetooth range. When you are close, Search Nearby and Compass View give directional cues and distance feedback to guide you directly to the tag.

Compact, Robust & Replaceable Battery
The SmartTag2’s updated shape is slimmer and less bulged than the first generation, with a larger cut-out designed to sit flat on keyrings and straps. A replaceable CR2032 battery powers the tag for up to around 500 days, and switching to Power Saving Mode can extend this by up to roughly 40%, helping reduce maintenance and battery waste.

Lost Mode & Cross-Platform NFC
Activating Lost Mode allows anyone who finds your item to scan the tag’s NFC area with a smartphone to see your chosen contact info and message, regardless of whether they use Android or iOS. This gives lost items an easier path back to you while still leaving control of what details are shared in your hands.
