I bought the watch for $228 and I believe it's realistic. Most apps like Google Wallet work well and Samsung Health takes care of the usability even if you're not a smartwatch geek. Watch synchronizes with the phone seamlessly, unfortunately needs to be worn snugly to read all your body functions even at night, which can be a pain but then again Samsung assigns you a sleeping animal which can follow you through your sleeping cycles. I'm guessing synchronisation works well while travelling through time zones which I'm yet to test since that was my main reason to buy it.
